Eagles’ Fred Johnson Accused by Pregnant Ex in Viral Hinge Claim: What We Know

PHILADELPHIA, May 12, 2026, 09:06 (EDT)

Fred Johnson, offensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles, has been accused by Alyssa Okada—his former girlfriend—of kicking her out of their home when she was eight months pregnant and turning to the dating app Hinge to meet other women, according to reports citing her TikTok posts. Okada, speaking from a car packed with two pink suitcases, called herself Johnson’s “now ex-girlfriend,” the New York Post said Monday.

Attention landed quickly on the situation, with Johnson still on the Eagles roster and the accusation tied to a late-term pregnancy—not some old dispute. On Tuesday, The Times of India said Okada’s videos had thrown Johnson straight into a growing debate online, spreading through NFL fan pages and social channels.

The football part matters. Johnson, 28, is listed as a tackle—No. 74 on Philadelphia’s roster, with eight years in the league. The Eagles in March said they’d reached a one-year agreement to bring him back.

Johnson gives Philadelphia some insurance at a spot where injuries tend to pile up. Reuters noted last year that he backed up both starting tackles—Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata—and took the field in every one of the Eagles’ four playoff games during their Super Bowl run.

Okada introduced the allegation as a “hypothetical,” describing a scenario where a man left his “eight-month pregnant girlfriend and unborn daughter” and signed up for Hinge the day after. According to The Times of India, fans were quick to link the remarks to Johnson, pointing out Okada’s posts with him during the 2025 season and the January announcement that the couple was expecting a baby girl. Okada responded in a follow-up clip, taking aim at those faulting women for their choice of partners. “No woman ever knowingly goes into a situation thinking this person is going to hurt me,” she said, per the report. The Times of India

Johnson hasn’t made any direct public comment on the allegation mentioned in the reports. According to OutKick/Fox News, he shared Instagram Stories touching on emotional resilience and rumors but left Okada’s accusation unaddressed. The outlet also noted it reached out to Johnson’s reps for a statement.

Back in March, the Eagles announced that Johnson had appeared in 14 games across the last two seasons, working at both left and right tackle. That versatility slots him in as a swing tackle—a backup with the flexibility to cover either side of the offensive line.

Still, gaps persist in the public record. None of the claims are independently confirmed by public reports so far, and things might change—especially if Johnson ends up giving a direct statement or if documentation surfaces on housing, support, or parenting setups.

At this point, it’s a reputational headache, not a roster shakeup. Johnson remains in the Eagles’ column on NFL.com’s 2026 offseason tracker, which continues to display his name alongside other short-term signings Philadelphia added after last season.
